Warranty Info

If within the warranty time limits described below, a product or any of its components fail, the original user-owner must contact an authorized Pelton & Crane dealer with the product sale and service records. Should the dealer not be able to complete the repair, the dealer may contact Pelton & Crane for disposition. The product’s model and serial number, the installation date and the Pelton & Crane invoice number must be furnished. Transportation charges to and from Pelton & Crane, if necessary, must be paid by the dealer. If upon receipt at the factory, an examination reveals faulty or defective original parts, materials, or workmanship, Pelton & Crane will, at its sole discretion, rebuild or replace.

WARRANTY POLICY

CHAIRS, STOOLS & DELIVERY SYSTEMS

All chairs, stools and delivery systems sold and installed by authorized Pelton & Crane dealers are warranted to be free from defects in parts, workmanship and materials for five (5) years from date of purchase. Upholstery is warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase, except non-standard colors which are not warranted. The warranty excludes normal expected service items such as but not limited to: filters, o-rings, hoses, HVE valves, SE valves, water valves and syringes. The warranty excludes add-ons such as scalers, electric motors, cameras, and monitors.

ADD-ON ACCESSORIES

Add-on accessories carry their own specific manufacturer’s warranty. Acteon warrants the SP Newtron Scaler, Mini LED Curing Light and SOPRO 717 Intraoral Camera for a period of one (1) year. Richardson Electronics warrants the Flat Screen Monitor for a period of one (1) year. KaVo warrants the TLC and ELECTROtorque Electric Motors for a period of three (3) years. KaVo also warrants all handpiece attachments for a period of two and one half (2.5) years. Kinetics warrants the Light Source Tubing Control for a period of one (1) year. Kinetics warrants the Light Source Tubing for a period of six (6) months. Lamps are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship at the time of installation in an electrical circuit having the correct characteristics. The useful life of lamps is not covered under warranty. Contact Customer Service for information on CAL133 flammability requirements.

LIGHTS, CABINETRY & MAGNA-CLAVE STERILIZERS

All lights, cabinetry and Magna-Clave sterilizers sold and installed by authorized Pelton & Crane dealers are warranted to be free from defects in parts, workmanship and materials for one (1) year from date of purchase. Excludes normal expected service items such as but not limited to: Lamps & lens shield. The Helios 3000 has an additional 5 year powertrain warranty that covers the core LED technology components within the operating light engine. Included within the powertrain warranty are the metal core board which houses the LED¹s, the mixing rod and diffuser.

DELTA STERILIZERS

Delta sterilizers sold and installed by authorized Pelton & Crane dealers are warranted to be free from defects in parts, workmanship and materials for three (3) years from date of purchase. During the first six (6) months of the warranty period, Pelton & Crane will provide a full replacement of the sterilizer, provided the product failure was due to defects in parts, workmanship or materials.During the remaining thirty (30) months of the warranty, Pelton & Crane will replace any defective part at no charge, provided the product failure was due to defects in parts, workmanship or materials. Excludes normal expected service items such as but not limited to: filters, door gasket and solenoid plunger. As stated above, there is no warranty offered if non-Pelton & Crane parts are used.

REPLACEMENT PARTS

Replacement parts and accessories are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days after purchase from Pelton & Crane. Repairs or replacements shall not interrupt or prolong the term of the original warranty.

CURING LIGHTS, SCALERS & CAMERAS

For any Acteon Curing Light, Scaler, or Intraoral Camera, please contact Acteon directly for all warranty and/or service issues or questions.

VISTA RESEARCH GROUP PRODUCTS

VRG shall warrant its dental waterline treatment systems and other systems for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation, or
thirty (30) months from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. Treatment filtration
elements subject to varying types of water conditions are not warranted for performance due to fouling by local
water conditions but are warranted for defects in materials and workmanship. Please see owner’s manual for additional
warranty details and and exclusions.

GENERAL

Pelton & Crane will not be responsible for dealer or service company labor charges, or shipping costs. Claims for shipping damage
must be filed with the carrier. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY WHEN THE ORIGINAL OWNER-OPERATOR COMPLETES
AND RETURNS THE WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT AT TIME OF PURCHASE OR
WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS OF INSTALLATION.

RETURN POLICY

No goods shall be returned without prior permission by Pelton & Crane. If permission is granted for the return of goods, the amount of credit issued, if any, will be at the sole discretion of the Pelton & Crane home office in accordance with established policies. If a return for credit is authorized, a 25% restocking fee will be charged on all catalogued items. All standard cabinets will be subject to a 40% return fee plus the cost of any damage repair. All custom and/or special color cabinets will be subject to a 75% return fee plus the cost of any damage repair. No returns on Replacement Parts after 180 days from the date such are shipped by Pelton & Crane. The customer is responsible for any freight costs. Where a new part is shipped at no charge to the customer, the unused/defective part must be returned within ninety (90) days or a charge will be issued for the new part. INFORMATION CONCERNING THE "WASTE RECOVERY" OF PELTON & CRANE, MARUS DENTAL, AND DCI EQUIPEMENT MEDICAL DEVICES

According to the European Union Directive 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), a waste management
strategy for the recovery of waste disposal by reuse, recycling, composting, and recovering energy from waste of electrical and
electronic out-of-service products is required for all electrical products distributed within the European Union. Therefore these products must be properly disposed of per this Directive.

A material identification document (EDC-020) has been created which contains important information about components and
materials. It will aid in the disposal, and especially the treatment and reuse/recycling of electric and electronic out-of-service products. A complete cleaning/disinfection/sterilization should be conducted prior to disassembly / disposal of a product.
